Option 2. Taxi
The fastest and most flexible option, available 24/7. Recommended for attendees arriving late at night or with multiple pieces of luggage.
Recommended apps for hailing a taxi:
K-RIDE (iOS / Android) — A taxi-hailing app developed by Kakao Mobility specifically for foreign visitors. Offers an English interface, accepts international credit cards, and does not require a Korean phone number or bank account.
Kakao T (iOS / Android) — Korea's most widely used taxi app. Supports English and can be used with a foreign phone number. Tip: We recommend downloading and setting up these apps before arrival in Korea.
Option 3. Subway (AREX + Incheon Line 1) (Link)
The most affordable option, but it involves transfers and may be less convenient with heavy luggage.
This option is best suited for travelers with minimal luggage who are comfortable navigating Korea's public transit system.
Recommended apps for navigation:
Subway Korea (iOS / Android) — A subway-only app with full English support. Ideal for foreign visitors.
Naver Map (iOS / Android) — Korea's most widely used map app, supporting English with real-time public transit information.

That said, here are some personal recommendations from the SSRR 2026 local organizing committee 😊
🌃 Songdo Central Park
🛍️ Hyundai Premium Outlets & Triple Street
Right next to the venue, Hyundai Premium Outlets Songdo is the perfect place for designer brands at outlet prices, while Triple Street offers a more relaxed mix of cafes, restaurants, and casual shops connected through open-air walkways. Both are great spots to unwind after a long day of sessions, especially on a sunny afternoon. Hyundai Outlets is just a 5-minute walk from the venue, and Triple Street is a 10-minute taxi ride (approx. KRW 5,000) or two subway stops away on Incheon Line 1. ☀️
🛷 Ganghwa Island Luge
A bit farther from the venue (about 1.5 hours by car), but well worth the trip if you have a half-day to spare. Race down the Ganghwado Luge, the longest gravity-driven track in Korea at 1.8 km, with sweeping views of the West Sea. Then ride the Ganghwa Seokmodo Cable Car across the channel for stunning coastal scenery from above. A great escape into nature, perfect for groups looking for adventure.
🐉 Wolmido & Chinatown
About 50 minutes from the venue by subway, Incheon Chinatown is Korea's oldest Chinatown, where you can sample authentic jjajangmyeon (Korean-Chinese black bean noodles) at its very birthplace. Just a short walk away, Wolmido offers a charming waterfront promenade with amusement rides, street food, and lively local energy. Don't miss the Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village nearby, a colorful street filled with storybook-themed murals that make for great photo spots. A perfect half-day cultural escape!
🌅 Eurwangni Beach: Sunset & Coastal Cafes
Enjoy a stroll along the waterfront, especially in the evening when the surrounding skyscrapers light up the city skyline. Don't miss the Moon Boat, a swan-shaped boat ride on the canal that's perfect for a relaxing break.
Right next to the park, we recommend stopping by Dangsan Odol, a local Korean BBQ spot, and grabbing a sweet treat at Ann's Bakery just nearby. A perfect way to wrap up the day! 😊
Just a short trip from Incheon Airport, Eurwangni Beach is famous for breathtaking sunsets over the West Sea, often ranked among the best in Korea. Pair the view with a cup of coffee at one of the many oceanfront cafes lining the coast — a perfect way to slow down and reflect after a long day of sessions. We recommend visiting in the late afternoon to catch the golden hour just right.
